Website Terms & Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Stage 1 Design!

Stage 1 Design, LLC (“Stage 1 Design,” “we,” “our,” or “us”) provides creative arts education, classes, workshops, special events, and community experiences for children, teens, adults, and families.

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of our website and online services. By accessing our website or purchasing services through it, you agree to these Terms, subject to applicable law.

Additional registration agreements, event terms, and consent forms may apply to specific programs or services.

2. Website Use

Visitors agree to use the Stage 1 Design website for lawful purposes and to provide accurate information when submitting inquiries, making reservations, or registering for programs.

Users may not attempt to interfere with website security, access restricted systems without authorization, or misuse information published on the website.

3. Program Registration

Stage 1 Design offers creative arts programs and experiences, including children’s classes, teen programs, camps, workshops, and other enrichment activities.

Class and program registration may be completed through Sawyer, our designated registration platform.

Parents and legal guardians are responsible for submitting accurate participant information and completing any required registration, emergency contact, and consent documentation.

Enrollment is subject to program availability, eligibility requirements, and applicable registration terms.

4. Payments and Purchases

Stage 1 Design uses approved third-party payment processing platforms.

  • Sawyer / Stripe: Class and program registration payments.
  • Square: Event purchases, private bookings, and other designated transactions.

Payment amounts, applicable fees, and payment schedules will be communicated during the applicable registration or checkout process.

Purchases are subject to the payment processor’s applicable terms and security procedures.

5. Cancellations, Refunds, and Rescheduling

Cancellation, refund, and rescheduling terms vary by program or service.

Regular classes, workshops, and ticketed events generally qualify for credits toward eligible future offerings rather than monetary refunds. Credits are valid for 12 months, subject to applicable law.

Birthday parties and private bookings follow separate deposit, cancellation, and rescheduling terms communicated during booking.

If Stage 1 Design cancels a class or event, rescheduling, credit, or applicable refund options will be provided.

All purchases remain subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

6. Participant Safety and Conduct

Stage 1 Design strives to provide a safe, welcoming, inclusive, and respectful creative environment.

Participants and visitors are expected to follow applicable studio safety guidelines, staff instructions, and conduct expectations.

Parents and guardians must provide accurate emergency contact information and disclose relevant participant support or safety needs through the appropriate registration process.

Stage 1 Design may address unsafe or disruptive conduct in accordance with its established policies and applicable law.

7. Photography and Video

Stage 1 Design may photograph or record programs and events for authorized business purposes.

Promotional use of identifiable images or recordings of minor participants requires appropriate parent or guardian authorization.

Families can review our Photo Release Policy and applicable Photo & Video Authorization Form (F-003).

Declining promotional photography consent will not prevent participation in Stage 1 Design programs.

8. Intellectual Property

Unless otherwise indicated, the Stage 1 Design name, logo, website content, original graphics, and promotional materials are owned by Stage 1 Design or used with permission.

Visitors may not reproduce, distribute, or commercially exploit protected materials without authorization, except as permitted by law.

Participants generally retain ownership of their original artwork, subject to any separately agreed terms.

12. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot legally be excluded or limits participants’ rights under applicable consumer protection laws.

13. Changes to These Terms

Stage 1 Design may update these Terms & Conditions to reflect changes in our services, website operations, or legal requirements.

Updated terms will be published on our website with a revised effective date.

Changes will not retroactively alter an existing purchase agreement where prohibited by law.
